Vaporization is the act of heating until compounds boil and turn into vapours. In the vaporisation process, molecules of a compound become gaseous but do not change composition. Some plants contain medecine which can be vaporised. The patented vaporisation chamber of the Inhalater, permits quick and uniform heating of the substrate placed into it. These vapours can be absorbded for their medicinal properties.
Vaporisation should not be confused with combustion. In combustion, heat and oxygen create compounds which were not present in the substrate. Burning generates ashes, which is not the case with vaporisation.
