Description

This was one of Winston Churchill€™s favourite cigars, a brand with a rich and distinguished history. The No. 2 is one of the original sizes of the Montecristo brand, which was created in Cuba by Alonso Menendez in 1935.

Its distinctive Piramides design has been much copied but never surpassed. Only Cuba€™s very finest and experienced rollers are allowed to roll a Montecristo No. 2.

Due to its long history and popularity, Montecristo is probably the most instantly recognisable brand of Cuban cigars. It€™s the yardstick from which all other brands are measured. The name originates from the novel €˜The Count of Montecristo€™ by Alexander Dumas.
